Synopsis

Most of us have words that were never spoken, things that were never said for one reason or another. We worried about rejection, we couldn't find the words, it didn't seem important at the time, no one was there to listen, we felt ashamed, we feared beginning and not finding an end, we thought we were to blame, others might not love us if they knew, we didn't think anybody cared to hear, the reasons are many. Often these "untold" pieces of our lives end up smothering our voices.

Class Description

In this 6-unit workshop you will discover where you were silenced and you will be encouraged to move through these experiences to reclaim your voice. You will explore different ways of expressing what you could never say and discover your own unique voice through journal writing, mandalas, poetry, letter writing, art, collage and dialogue. "Freeing Our Creative Voice" is a powerful, intense and moving workshop about allowing, healing and finding freedom of expression by exploring the stories of our lives. "When we hide nothing, we can give everything." —The Loggins
